Well, here it is! It's the 100% unofficial, CM99-00 section of my website. Championship Manager is undoubtedly the king of football management games, and this is the section of my website dedicated to it's brilliance! Me and Championship Manager.
I first discovered Championship Manager around six years ago, when CM2 had recently been released. I saw it sitting on a shelf in Dixons, next to Geoff Crammonds Formula One Grand Prix 2, which had also recently been released. I was going to buy F1GP2 anyway, and at only twenty quid, CM2, which I had heard good things about, seemed like a good buy too. I brought them both and went straight home to get playing on them. To my surprise I found I was getting more enjoyment out of playing CM2 than I was playing F1GP2, and I found that CM2 was strangely addictive.
I'd start playing it for, "just a quick match or two", and when I looked up again, four hours had whizzed by! I'm sure all you other CM addicts out there can relate to this phenomenon! Anyway, obviously with each new installment of the game, CM96-97, CM3, and the current CM99-00, my addiction hasn't got any better. In fact, it's spiralling ut of control! In the end I just decided I would add a Championship Manager section to my website! Anyway, enough out of me, take a look around! ENJOY!!!
